Review: Hotel Devin, Bratislava, Slovakia - April 2017.



I stayed at the Hotel Devin on the banks of the River Danube in central Bratislava in April, 2017. Two of us stayed for three nights bed and breakfast at a total cost of 296 Euro. The hotel room was large and had a view directly over the River Danube, looking straight towards Most SNP and the UFO:Bar. The room had air-conditioning and the bed was large and comfortable, it was certainly of a very good quality.



The hotel decor is classic and highly stylish, lots of wood, leather, velvets and art-work. It gave the hotel a distinctly luxurious feel.



Breakfast at the hotel was mostly excellent, on one of the days the buffet was virtually empty and the waiters slow to re-stock it, but on the other two days it was superb, with a wide variety of foods.



The hotel had an excellent swimming pool and fitness area, which I really enjoyed using.

Bratislava is in southwestern Slovakia, occupying both banks of the River Danube and the left bank of the River Morava. This film was taken as part of a week long break in central Europe, in which I visited both Bratislava and Vienna, Austria making extensive films of both capital cities, and staying in three different hotels, of which I also made full video reviews.
